The history of the 5-star luxury hotel started with a refuge, and a lot has been done ever since. All the 43 hosts of the Arlberg Hospiz have improved the refuge in St. Christoph – as did Florian Werner: your host today is also a fan of the fine arts and an artist himself. You can see his artistic touch at the 1,400m² art gallery on the Arlberg.

Host, art fan, collector and artist: since 2008 Florian Werner has added colour to the 5-star Arlberg Hospiz Hotel. The Hospiz gallery compiles contemporary art and exhibits it everywhere at the hotel – art that builds a symbiosis with spa, culinary and winter sports during your holiday.

Florian Werner loves to surround himself with art and artists. He also wants his guests to be able to enjoy art. “Artists in Residence” is his own project: throughout the winter contemporary artists can stay and work creatively at the 5-star Arlberg Hospiz Hotel. Of course the paintings and works will be exhibited later. This way you can enjoy the art and talk with the artist about his exhibit. Look forward to interesting and inspiring conversations.

Art on the Arlberg and in Bregenz

The success of the art-concept shows that Florian Werner is on the right way. In Mai 2011 he built another art gallery: the Hospiz Gallery in Bregenz. With changing exhibitions the gallery is worth a visit, if you happen to be in the city on the Lake Constance.
