Hospitality since 1386. The Hospiz was based on the foundation of generous hospitality. More than 600 years ago Heinrich, a foundling from Kempten built the Hospiz to protect travellers from the weather on the Arlberg. With papal approval he founded the Brotherhood of St. Christoph.

Nowadays the senior host at the Arlberg Hospiz, Adi Werner is head of the brotherhood, keeping the original maxim of the Hospiz alive to this day: granting support to people who find themselves in need innocently.
The brotherhood has numerous members including a significant number of royals. Guests become a sister or brother of the Brotherhood St. Christoph in a festive ritual.
Today the Hotel Arlberg Hospiz in Austria is characterised by Florian Werner, son of Gerda and Adi Werner. The artist and gallery owner extended the luxury hotel at the Arlberg Massif with an artistic tone.
